Rick, I read about your site on Jan's Guestbook for The Band site, and immediately had to comment to him on that page, thanking him for his herculean effort. I too listen to all sorts of music. I probably like a bit more country than you, although I like the dinosaurs, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, etc., rather than the slick "hat acts with a twang" that dominate country music today. I also like Nigerian juju, Zulu umbeqanga and a few other styles of African music.Interestingly, many of Jan's favorite groups are on my list as well (Feat, Zevon, David Lindley, Faces, Ry Cooder). As for zydeco, I AM the "East Coast Zydecological Observatory & Turtle Ranch". Thanks for your cool interview with Jan, and I'm looking forward to digesting more of your site as time goes on!

Hey?! Love the new web-site; but why no information concerning the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's, new class of inductees? The 2009 Class was just inducted (did you not get your invitation?). I'll always remember the great ending to the song "Train kept a Roll'in" played by all the famous musicians. too many famous legends to list! Contact me directly and I'll forward you the PDF electronic file, on the fabulous show! My partner, Tommy Hart, and I loved it! Next year, I can be an on site reporter for the new web site. We'll talk benefit's plan, later. LOL

I'm bumbed my first comment didnt go thru :O(!! Any way , First and for most the intro reminded me not only of most of the men to boys I know , and yes what rockin girl /woman doesnt get hot when she hears the rebel yell, but most of my female friends lived and breathe rockin roll just as well.Just to day on the way home More than a feelin was blastin on the radio and you know it wasnt quite right til I had the music louder all the windows including the top one down. I even find more joy when I turn around and find my twelve year old rockin right along with me...BEAUTIFUL!!! Old memories and new right there for me to look thru. Also, yes Ann Wilson is the best female rock n roller ever but I thought you had a crush on everybodys little sister!!! hahahahaha!!! Love Ya Bro, Wen

WOW!!! You sounded like a guy I know... and the intro sounded just like my life, until you got to the Zydeco and the Country part. That must be the other web sites your putting together (in secret). Growing up the same time and same place I can relate. With Don Kirschner's rock concerts AND being in the meca of music from the Bay Area and with the "Days on the Green" to "Mountain Air" then waking up on some exotic island in the middle of nowhere just to do it all over again, if you can remember that. This site is 4EVRRAD thought it wouldn't be?.
