Ok- you were close-

Day on the Green #2: Foreigner, Loverboy, Scorpions, Iron Maiden (July 18, 1982)

I was there. Insane. Yes the monsters, the monsters. Were you that guy in the front row that had really big pupils like mine?

PS- the only Day on the Green that Judas Priest played was July of 1977 and if you were lucky enough to be ther you would have seen- Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Derringer . Wow.

Here are my "Seven Rules", from concert pasts >>>>

Rule #1 = DO NOT 'Drop' until the first band plays.
Rule#2 = never kiss the girl that just puked. Yeh, sure, obvious.....now.
Rule #3 = the Devil figures that you see hovering above the stage, are merely temporary. More Demon like figures, taking the form of scary relatives, will appear later.
Rule # 4 = Buy a T-Shirt 3 sizes bigger. One size for shrinkage, two sizes for yearly girth growage (if only I knew this back in '82, my concert shirt wouldn't currently be used as a work out towel).
Rule #5 = Don't take B.A.R.T.; back in '82 I had to wait over an hour for the first train. Multiple that by 3 decades.
Rule #6 = Don't leave it in the parking lot, and you don't have to drink it all; sneak the bottle in under your clothes.
Rule #7 = Okay, you've got your 3 joints; a lighter; your ticket; you're ready to go inside & enjoy.....what? your ticket? You forgot your ticket.......again???

Rule #8 = Hop the security fence.........

Memories of a Judas Priest concert past (in 1982).........

September 1982; Oakland Coliseum. Scorpians/Judas Priest/ and a 3rd band (name? I don't think they made it big). Anyways, the Acid really started to kick in when Judas Priest was rocking. They had this 'Monster', that danced around with the band memebrs at the end of their set. I was freak'in. The band members could easily have been eaten, at anytime.
