He has nothing to do with the south. As recently as the 90s Steve Wold worked in a recording studio in Olympia, Washington, where people say he didn't wear hobo clothes and didn't have a southern accent. But apparently he did lie a lot,and moved house more times than a whore with debts and a crack habit. How does a 67 year old man suddenly become this character? He fakes the entire bad act.
