The United Firefighters of America are auctioning off a guitar signed by AC/DC’s Angus Young to help raise money for Volunteer Fire Departments so that they can get the equipment they need by finding good used equipment for them and/or raising funds to offer them grants.

AC/DC Summer Tour Dates

A string of AC/DC dates have been announced this summer in support of their album ‘Black Ice’ which was released in October 2008.

The outing kicks off July 28 in Foxborough, MA and so far runs through September 8.

‘Black Ice’ debuted a Number One on the Billboard chart, selling 780,000 copies in its first week of release via limited online and retail outlets.

The dates so far are:

East Rutherford, NJ Giants Stadium (31)
Auburn Hills, MI The Palace of Auburn Hills (August 16)
Grand Rapids, MI Van Andel Arena (18)

Top 10 Best Classic Rock Songs

The best classic rock songs? Okay- I know this is gonna start some controversy out there but here is MY top ten. This is an opinion (mine). Obviously yours is going to be different. Picking the top ten of anything is highly subjective but when it comes to music and the best classic rock songs this heats up even more.

After a number of tries, well, this is F&%#@ing hard! I ended picking songs that I could relate to. These are songs that have meaning for me. They are not the necessarily the best musicians or best lyrics or any of that. Just good classic rock songs that I like.

So here’s my top 10 best classic rock songs:

AC/DC Anything Goes video

Anything Goes is a song by the Australian hard rock group AC/DC. It is the 4th track from their latest album Black Ice. “Anything Goes” is one of five songs from the album that is played live on their Black Ice World Tour. The single cover for Anything Goes is the only AC/DC cover to feature Brian Johnson, as most others feature only Angus Young.
