Ozzy Osbourne, and The Black Eyed Pea’s Fergie are rumored to be guesting on Slash's new solo album...

Slash has posted another update on the progress of his new Solo LP. Be warned - he’s working with a Black Eyed Pea.

Speaking about the as-yet-untitled new album, which also features former Nine Inch Nails tub-thumper Josh Freese on drums and former Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, Slash revealed on his MySpace page: “We’ve nailed four killer tracks with four amazing vocals so far and nailing another one Tuesday [April 14], so things are going extremely well.

“Everybody who has contributed vocals so far have been flawless and the rhythm section, Josh and Chris, are priceless.

“Eric Valentine is a genius producer, not to mention his team is great. All in all this last couple of weeks have been a hell a lot of fun and we’re just getting started.

“It’s definitely going to be a kick-ass record, if I do say so myself.”

As far as for who will be performing vocal duties on the record, Slash’s wife Perla Hudson has allegedly revealed that both Ozzy Osbourne, and The Black Eyed Pea’s Fergie will be guesting on the album.

Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne are attempting to lease one of two beach houses they own in Malibu, California. It can be yours for only...

Must be a slow news day, this all I’ve dug up so far.

The Rock Radio is reporting that Ozzy Osbourne and his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne are attempting to lease one of two beach houses they own in Malibu, California, according to The Real Estalker. The home is available to lease for $25,000 a month. The couple initially put it up for sale in March of 2006 for $14 million, eventually dropping the price to just under $11 million, but have not managed to find a buyer. Photos of the property can be seen at realestalker.blogspot.com.

The Osbournes own another house in a gated community in the Hidden Hills area, which they bought for $10 million after selling the Los Angeles home in which their reality series The Osbournes was mostly filmed.

That house was sold to Christina Aguilera in the summer of 2007.

The Osbourne family’s new variety series, Osbournes: Reloaded, premiered on Fox on Tuesday, March 31st. The critically blasted show came in fourth in its time slot with mediocre ratings. Although six episodes have been shot, an airdate for the second one has yet to be announced.

Ozzy Osbourne is working on a new studio album.

Here’s a sweet video of one of my favorite Sabbath songs, Warpigs, live in Paris in 1970:

The rock icon has set himself a task of learning to drive this year, so he can get a little quiet time. He says, “My house is like an insane asylum and I thought, ‘It would be great to get in my car and drive around the block - just to be on my own.’”

But Ozzy admits he’s struggling to find driving instructors who will give him lessons. He explains, “Nobody will stay in the car with me for more than three lessons; they all think I’m nuts.”

His wife Sharon put her life in Ozzy’s hands earlier this month when she let the rocker drive her the two hours from Los Angeles to Palm Springs.

Osbourne is currently working in Los Angeles on his 10th studio album, which will follow up 2007’s “Black Rain”. The new disc is expected in stores by Thanksgiving of this year.

Osbourne’s long-running traveling metal festival, Ozzfest, will not take place in 2009. A press release issued by Osbourne’s publicist stated that the singer does not want to tour until he has a new album in stores later in the year, adding, “Thus, Ozzy has decided to put his namesake festival Ozzfest on hold this year.” The announcement is not really surprising, given the festival’s scaled-down reconfiguration as a one-day event last year after more than a decade as a full-length summer tour.

In addition to the general slowdown in both the economy and the concert business, Ozzfest began facing competition last year from the Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour and Crüe Fest.
